AMOSSHE National Conference 2020Poppy’s wild week

For many working in higher education, we have daily interactions with students, but how much do we really understand about the student experience off-campus? Such an understanding is vital to ensure that off-campus services offered by universities are shaped to suit the needs of our students. It’s imperative that town/gown partnerships can continue to promote community cohesion within the diverse communities where our students reside.

In a bid to understand fully the off-campus student experience, hear how Poppy Humphrey (Off Campus Student Affairs Officer, Manchester Student Homes) headed back to live with a group of students... for a whole week!

In this free webinar led by Poppy and Oliver Harrison (Director of Insight & Engagement & Co-founder, Campus Life) learn about the Manchester town/gown approach, partnership structures, and research and insight reports painting a broader picture of town / gown issues in the UK. Hear from the students themselves about their experiences off-campus, and the challenges and opportunities that arise in these communities.
