Consider what you and your team might need to do in the longer term to support student mental health, and what practical steps you might take now to be ready for life and work in a ‘post COVID-19’ world.
- How will you support your students and staff, and what issues might be top of your ‘to do’ list?
- How might mental health challenges have changed?
- It is likely that we will see more anxiety, trauma, and grief? What else do we need to be ready to care for, and respond to? Will some students need more help than others?
- Will new skills be helpful to develop for life in a changed society?
None of us has all the answers, but this will be an engaging opportunity to take time to think about the challenges ahead, in a new and different world.
