AMOSSHE leads Sammy Li (University of Birmingham) and Keith Houghton (University of Law) introduce the event and set the context. This event advocates a social approach to identifying reasonable adjustment needs, in which skilled Student Services staff make decisions and recommendations. The aim of this approach is to reduce the administrative and evidence burden on students, to hold risk on behalf of academic colleagues, and to provide a consistent approach across your institution, while aligning to the requirements of the Disabled Students Commitment, and fostering inclusion for all.
