This session takes a case study approach to provide an overview and insight into the journey and development of the Student Welfare Services led out of hours service at Bath Spa University from launch in 2018/19 to the current day. Providing an honest summary and reflection of challenges experienced, successes and the drivers of change.
Felicity is the Student Wellbeing Services Manager at Bath Spa University. She joined higher education in December 2023 after over 20 years in the probation service. Her extensive experience in the public sector informs her work in student wellbeing, bringing a fresh perspective to the higher education environment.
As Director of SWS at Bath Spa University, Sara is the strategic lead for the delivery of a range of multi-disciplinary student support services. With around 30 years of experience working in higher education, Sara is passionate about the provision of enabling, agile and professional services for university communities.
