Anastasiia is currently pursuing a degree in International Business at the University of Greenwich. Prior to this, she studied at Uxbridge College, a Further Education provider. As a Student Ambassador, she wants to ensure that all international students have an equal chance to excel academically and enjoy their studies, regardless of their background or circumstances. Being a former tutor, she hopes to achieve this vision by advocating for standardised learning support resources to be available to the public online and in person. She believes that helping overseas students adapt to the UK educational system in a faster and less stressful way will significantly impact their future success and their ability to give back to the community.

Assanatou Sy

Assanatou is a master’s student in international security at the University of Bath. Engaging as a Student Ambassador and gaining experience in international student recruitment during her gap year ignited her passion for enhancing the wellbeing of international students in the UK. She aims to advocate for policies that enhance academic and social support services, promote inclusivity, and provide targeted support for underrepresented groups among international students. Joining the #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador programme, Assanatou seeks to integrate her insights as an international student with her professional background in recruitment to foster an inclusive environment for fellow international students.
