New AMOSSHE website: did you know?

Learn about our new website features.

We recently launched our new website and are excited about the feedback we've received from many of our members. While the website brings new features, we also want to ensure you can easily locate tools from the previous version. So here’s a quick guide to walk you through the new features and help you find everything you need.

As an AMOSSHE member you can get the most out of our new website by logging in. This unlocks features that aren’t available on the public site.

Topics of interest

Selecting your topics of interest helps you tailor the content you receive from us, ensuring you only get the most relevant information. Whether your work primarily focuses on student finance and money, mental health support, or career development, select these topics when setting your preferences. You’ll receive updates specifically related to what you’ve picked.

Resources

All of our key resources are easily accessible under the new Resources section. Are you looking for past presentations, reports, or guides? You can quickly find and download what you need. Head to the Resource Library and select the topic you’re interested in to find what you’re after.

Here’s a quick video showing you how to find resources:

Public profile and direct messaging

Your public profile is where you can share your expertise and areas of interest with the community. Did you love someone’s presentation at one of our events? Did you want to collaborate on a project? Log in, find the member and connect. You can now send direct messages to connect, making networking easier than ever.

Member benefits

We’ve recently updated our Benefits page to showcase how joining our community enhances and supports your work. In times of budget cuts and increased responsibilities, this updated resource will help you justify the cost of your membership. You can also use it to encourage colleagues to join.

The page is formatted as a frequently asked questions section, which you can repurpose to write a letter to your Vice-Chancellor or use as a talking point to demonstrate how our membership benefits your work in Student Services.

Post a vacancy

The process of submitting your vacancies is now available on our website. When logged in, head to our Sector job page. You’ll find a tab with a form for you to fill in the necessary information to submit your vacancy. You no longer need to send us an email.

Make sure to scroll down and check our already posted vacancies to avoid double posting and submit. Then, once your vacancy is posted, we’ll notify you!
