Venue, travel and accommodation

The event takes place at the Park Plaza Victoria London hotel in London.

If you booked a residential ticket you can check in on Thursday 6 February from 15:00. If you arrive at the venue earlier, the hotel team can store your luggage until you check in.

Check out is at 12:00 noon on Friday 7 February. The hotel team can store your luggage until the end of the conference.

If you haven’t booked a residential ticket and you need accommodation for the event, you must book this separately. AMOSSHE can't book accommodation for you. Rail / tube – the venue is a five minute walk from Victoria mainline railway and tube station. Victoria is a big station so don’t get lost (this page may help). Follow the signs for the Wilton Road exit. Then walk south on Wilton Road for 100 metres. Park Plaza Victoria London is on your left. You’ll see another hotel first called the ‘Hotel Riu Plaza London Victoria’ – walk right on by and the next hotel you get to is the right one, the Park Plaza Victoria London.

Air – the hotel is accessible by public transport from all the major London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted).

Road – you can find directions by road and taxi details on the hotel website linked above. The hotel offers 20 onsite parking spaces and is located outside of the Congestion Charge Zone. You must book your space using the JustPark app.

Arrival and registration

When you arrive at the venue on the day of the event (Friday 7 February), please register first. Registration is open from 08:30 to 09:30. The first session starts at 09:30.

The AMOSSHE registration desk is located in the Victoria Lobby on the lower ground floor (Conference Level 1). From the main hotel foyer on the ground floor take the lift or stairs down one level to find us.

Wifi

There's free wifi for conference delegates. Use the network: Park Plaza Victoria London. There’s no password, just enter your details, accept the terms and conditions, and connect. Please note that this is a public network.

Accessibility

All the floors in the venue are fully accessible by lift.

Accessible toilets are available on all levels where the event is taking place.

Speakers will use microphones in the room where sessions are taking place.

An evacuation plan is in place in case of emergency, and will be outlined to you ahead of the morning sessions. Delegates with mobility considerations should make themselves known to the AMOSSHE team on the registration desk, so that we can discuss a personalised evacuation plan.

Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue, but we would be grateful if you could inform us in advance if you intend to bring your dog with you to the event.

Photography and filming

Please be aware that photos, screenshots and recordings may be taken throughout the conference, especially during the keynote sessions and evening events. AMOSSHE will make every effort to ensure that we capture only those people who have given us consent to use their image. We may use any photographs for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and on social media, or in any third party publication. Please contact the conference team if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted from this activity.
