This session provides an overview the Office for Students’ new condition of regulation and its requirements for higher education providers in England, as well as the implementation. Get an overview of the requirements and other related topics, including:

  • The key requirements of the condition.
  • The single source of information universities and colleges will need to produce and promote that sets out their policies for addressing harassment and sexual misconduct, and report handling processes.
  • The importance of universities and colleges engaging with their student cohort and student representatives as they develop their processes.
  • The Sexual Misconduct Survey.

You can ask the Office for Students team about specific aspects of the condition, and explore your approaches. But please note that the Office for Students team won't be able to answer questions about whether specific provider policies represent compliance with the condition as this would depend on contextual and other factors that they wouldn't be able to adequately assess within the session.

This is a virtual meeting hosted using Zoom. We'll send you a link to join the meeting when you register. The session won't be recorded or shared afterwards.
