Week one of our three-part Student Services leadership event series draws upon self-care practices and reinforces the importance of looking after yourself as a leader, with an opportunity to make connections with peers in your network.
In this session Jacqui Woodhouse (Our HR People) discusses thriving, not surviving - looking after yourself as a Student Services leader. Through interactive exercises and groups work, we'll explore:
- Managing stress and burnout. Thinking about your pressures, watching for burnout. Where are you?
- Managing your mindset and energy. Are your strengths making you vulnerable to burnout?
- Developing your tools and techniques. What are you and others doing? Could you do more to thrive, not just survive?
